What is the average total weight loss on the program?

I started the jump start program yesterday and I am not sure if I can believe my scale or tape measure but I have lost 5 pounds and 3 inches. I think it goes to show me how much my body desperately needed this. I certainly don’t expect to lose 5 pounds a night, and I’m wondering if my scale was off (I weighed myself) twice but I am thrilled to see and feel an immediate difference.

Good luck to everyone!

When I finished W-N in late May of last year, I was stuck in the mid 130’s and felt like I’d failed since I’d lost 26 instead of the 30 pounds that other people had lost.  I also had many stalls, one of them lasting just over a week, and that was while I was still on the VLCD!  I am 5’3.5” (got to have that .5 inch!) and also wanted to lose more…  And I did!  During what is now called “Steady Trim”, I lost an additional 13 pounds and another 3 pounds on Maintenance…  then another 10 since December when I did another W-N cycle.  I am feeling so much better about having my weight (113) proportional to my height!  It does take longer as you get closer to the goal, but when your body adjusts to one period of loss and is ready for another, you will see additional results. Just stay with it - you have worked hard and deserve to be healthy!

I’m on day 12 of the Rapid loss and have lost 6 lbs (that works out to the average 0.5lbs per day).  I have some days where it is more or less and had a two day plateau, but the overall is right in line with my goals.  I’m on the 30day rapid loss, with no Jump Start, the weight usually lost on that is 10 to 15lbs.

So far I am feeling great, and really am amazed at what I was eating before. I was not a horribly unhealthy eater, but I have alredy learned that my food choice balance and portion sizes were way off. That lesson plus the weight loss so far make this program a success. I see no problem sticking with a healthier diet after completion and that is the key to weight loss, keeping it off!! Something I have never managed to do over the years.

This takes serious discipline, but the skills learned will help you change your lifestyle and not just lose the initial weight.  Talk to your doctor and talk to a weight not counselor to see if it is a good fit for you.

I’m actually excited about how this weight loss and change in eating overall will affect my cholesterol test this summer. I think my doctor is going to be very happy and I will be able to stay off cholesterol medication.

This is a fantastic program!  I started November 13th on the supplement program and have lost 31 lbs so far in 53 days!!!!  Never hungry, never craving.  This has completely changed my metabolism and my life.  I still have 37 days left and plan to lose another 15-20 lbs in that time.  It’s just amazing how easy this has been.  How I wish I had done this years ago.  It seems expensive when you first talk to a sales rep, but I have to tell you that my blood sugar is now normal and my physician has taken me off my diabetes medication—I have been diabetic for more than 5 years….. So, just try this program—you won’t regret it.

WOW Jane!! This is AMAZING!!! Keep up the good work!

Average weight loss varies by person, naturally. But in my case, I’m not “particularly” overweight. I was 154lbs and 5’5 at the start of weightnot. I am almost done with the program and am approaching my goal weight of 130-135lbs. That’s nearly 20lbs lost in 6weeks. The diet is not super difficult. You get to eat and learn so much about various foods and how your body processes them. It’s amazing to look back and see how much junk I’ve put into my body and I’m only 25. It definitely is a lifestyle change and so easy to keep up with because you see immediate results. (I lost 5lbs in the first few days). I say definitely go for it because you only have the weight to loose!

I just completed my 4th week and I’ve lost a total of 21 pounds—I’m absolutely THRILLED with that!!  I’m hoping to lose another 8-10 pounds during the next two weeks but I’m really happy where I am now because I can fit into all my skinny, summer clothes again and I don’t feel at all self-conscious at the pool anymore :-)  It’s shaping up to be a great summer!

Like other members, I just recently started (today is day 6 of the program) ... as of this morning, I have lost 10 pounds :-)  VERY VERY happy with program ... have not been hungry at all and following the program seems relatively easy.  My only recommendation for someone starting new is to make sure you vary the food you eat - otherwise, it will get old very soon.  There are some great recipes provided to members and on the forum ... lettuce wraps, taco salad, and chicken Italian are some of my favorites :-)
