I’m 5’7 (almost 5"8)
Starting waist: 36
Waist now: 27.5
My hips…wow I think I started at 52 and they are now 41

Planning on trying to lose the last lbs on my own after I’m done..If not, I’ll be back for another round of RL.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Weight Not does change your entire lifestyle.  I started WN Feb 2011 with 30 days each of Rapid Loss and Steady trim. I’m 5’2”, 34 and started at 172.2lbs., size 14pants. I lost 17.4lbs on the program along with a lot of inches.  I continued to apply what I learned in WN to general healthy eating and increased my exercise (Karate 2x a week, Gym 3x a week) and lost another 10lbs on my own.  I did another 30 day Rapid Loss in October 2011, and lost 10lbs on that.  That’s 37.4lbs and puts me at my goal of 135lbs, I am so much healthier and have more energy.  I feel better than I did when I got married, in fact, I just sent my wedding rings to get downsized, they almost fell off my finger. Losing the weight was great, maintaining that loss is even better (as is buying size 8 and 10 pants!).

Right now, with the holidays, I am trying to be mindful but allow for indulgences.  What I’ve found is that eating healthy is really now a matter of habit and doesn’t take as much effort as it used to. WN taught me the tools the make the right decisions about food, even when I’m out at a party or a restaurant.  I feel like I’m setting a great example for my toddler too, we keep fruits and vegetables as snacks and I smile every time he is excites about an orange, apple or a salad! (yes, my 2 year old loves salad!)

A big thank you to all on the forums, your ideas, stories and support make it possible to do this all! Wherever you are at in your program, the effort is worth it.  It is definitely a life change and it won’t just make you feel good and look good, you will be healthier overall.

Happy Holidays everyone, let’s toast our health and the support of our Weight Not friends!

Emily - that’s awesome!  You are so brave for starting this plan during the holidays! I’m too chicken, as I don’t want to set myself up to fail!  I think I could handle going to parties and all - and staying on plan - but I have some upcoming travel that I just don’t know if I can do it!  I prefer to be on lockdown at home, particularly those first two days of fasting!  So for now, I’m starting January 1st and am just trying to eat sensibly and exercise between now and then.

I look forward to seeing your progress - you must be thrilled!

Well I did it!!!! I made it through my first month and I could not be more excited!! I was really not sure that I could do this when I signed up - but I have and with great ease.  When I had my phone consultation I weighed 283 lbs.  (20 lbs more than I had “estimated”).  Somehow, even though I ate that last week before I started like I would never see food again, I managed to loose 5 pounds before my kit came and today, exactly 30 days later I have lost another 25.5 pounds!!!!!!!!!!Making my total weight loss since my initial call - 30.5 lbs.  I can not believe how good I feel, I proud of myself I am and confident I am that I will loose the next 80 pounds too with the help of Weightnot.  I have been able to stay on program the entire time (Thanksgiving, book club, BUNCO and a Christmas party last night) and no cheating!!! On top of the weight loss, I measured myself today and in 30 days I have lost 8 inches and my BMI has gone from a 46.26 to a 42.10.  I know I have a long way to go but I feel confident that I can do it.  Thank you Weightnot!

Congratulations!  I really enjoy reading all the successes people write about regarding their weight loss.

I just finished the jumpstart week and lost 7lbs.  Today is day 1 of rapid loss.  I figure if I can make it through the holidays on this program, I can’t make it through any day!

Tomorrow is my last day of my 30 day Rapid Loss (second round). My goal was 10lbs and I have lost that!
Between my first WN round, the in between time and now, I have lost 37lbs, 7 inches on my waist, 5 inches on my hips and 4 pant sizes!

I’m looking forward to maintaining my weight and more importantly, my overall health and fitness. Thank you WN!!!

Good luck to all of you, it is worth it!

Hi all

Sounds like everyone is doing great!  I am impressed with WN myself.  I just finished my Jumpstart week (started Rapidloss this am) and have already lost 9.5lbs and 3 inches off my waist!  Who knew?!  It is very nice to ready the posts from the folks who have finished the program and are still staying trim.  Way to go!

My stats:
Height 5.3
Starting Weight: 185
Current Weight 175.5
Starting Waist: 39.5
Current Waist: 36.5

Yay me!  LOL

Keep up the good work all!  :-)

I decided to do another 30day round of Rapid Loss to help get off those stubborn last 10 lbs.  Well, it’s the end of week one, and I’ve already lost 3.8lbs!  I also feel energized. Even though I was doing pretty well at eating healthy not on Weight Not, I still hit a road block where I could not seem to break a plateau.  After week one, I feel clean and am sure a lot of the initial weight loss is not only due to the low calorie intake, but simple detoxing.

This is my second time doing WN and I really do love this program!!! Can’t wait to see how the rest of my days go.

Losing weight can have it’s drawbacks, though if not fitting into clothes because they are too big is a drawback, I’ll take it!!  Congrats Carrie, that’s a great update! Keep up the good work!!!

An update on where I am now 5 months out of Weight Not:

Today is a great day! I was excited to wear my corduroy pants that were way too tight last year (I couldn’t even zip them, much less button them)!  Well, I couldn’t wear them, they were too big!!  I was able to put them on, zipped and buttoned, and stick my arm into the pant leg still! My actual pound weight loss plateaus are getting a little longer, but I am obviously toning up, losing fat and gaining muscle.  Yay!!
