Hi! I am a female, 5’6, 24 years old, and my weight (after the 2 loading days) was 199.8 lbs.

I am on day 3 of VLCD. Lost 3.5 pounds the first day and 2.2 pounds the second day, bringing my TWL to 5.7 lbs.

I drink at least 4 L of water per day, walk 5 miles (appx. 10,000 steps) in the morning, and spread out my food so I am eating every 2 hours throughout the day. I also don’t eat anything after 6 p.m.

I started on Sat. March 28 so it’s been 7 days (5 VLCD days).  I’ve lost 16 pounds.  Very happy so far.  Just hope I can keep it up for another ~35 days.

Also I’m a 5’6” and 31 y.o.

Okay!
I am 4"11” (ish LOL)

I started my
Day 1 (3/29) at 187.2
Day 3 (today 3/31) 186.2

I did eat a lot but it was hard to really push it for those loading days. Had pizza and mcdonalds etc.

I really want to get back to at least my license weight of 155 and preferable to ultimate goal of 140.  My hubby, who is supposed to be the cook as he gets home 1.5 hours before I do, tends to like to get takeout or makes what really are not super healthy foods.  So, over the past two years I have devolved to old/bad eating habits instead of my old premarriage eating habits. (we have been married 11 years but over the past 2-3 years I have been eating more like him than how I used to).

Just hang in there. My husband eats really bad in front of me which really sucks but you learn to just ignore it and realize you are doing this for you and once you can transition and be on a higher calorie plan you can make your meals for both of you. You will be really surprised how well you will learn self control. BE STRONG.

I am happy for those who are just starting. You made the right choice. I am 5’2 start weight was 196.6, gained 2 lbs during carb load; it is day 28 and i have lost 16 lbs. I have hit 2 plateaus and have done the apple day diet and the scale didn’t move, I also have not cheated but everybody is going to react differently to this program. But 16lbs in 28 days wouldn’t of happend on anything else so i am still grateful for what i have lost, i also have lost 4 inches from my waist and dropped from a tight 16 to a loose 14. Current weight 181.2, Goal 160.

So I know we never want to admit our weight… but I think it may be helpful to others to know other people’s successes with their body composition.  So they can maybe see how their body MAY do… I know everyone’s function of their bodies are totally different than everyone elses… but maybe we could start?  I just started the program this week and I am 5’2 164.4 when I started on Monday.  (The scale measurements at the center said I was 5 ft 1/2 an intch… well, every doctors I have been to said 5’2 so I am sticking with that) :-)  Now, today is Friday and I started the low calorie on Wednesday, I have lost a total of 4.8 lbs Wed-Fri.  How about everyon else??  :-)

I started the program on Tuesday.  I am 5’8” and as of today (completing day 7 yesterday) I have lost 7.5 lbs.  So I guess that would be Thursday through Monday.  You sound like you’re doing great !!!

Thanks!  I also want to say…. that i meant inch instead of intch above!  LOL!!  I think I was thinking about itch and inch at the same time… ha ha!

This is my second week and I feel a little better hungry wise.  I did accidentally make a mistake and ate regular 93/7 ground beef instead of organic the other night… I didn’t even think!  I don’t think it hurt too bad but the past two days I have only lost like point something and not a half lb or a whole lb…

I’ll share.  I am 5’1” and when I started I weighed in at 207.  Today is day 23 and I have lost 20.2 lbs .  I have lost 3” off my waist as well.

I can tell you that I have not deviated at all, not even once.  I have prepared all my own food and not eaten out.  My water intake is over the minimum.

Most days I am not ravenous but I must say that mid day I am hungry.  The difference is that it does not take my whole lunch to satisfy my hunger so I split it up.  I eat my first fruit of the day at around 10 AM and my second is at 4ish PM so I can make it to dinner which isn’t until 7:30ish.

I’d like others to share how they have done.  I don’t know if this is typical, good, bad…?  I am hoping to loose another 15 lbs.
