Day 15 of Steady Trim, the halfway point!  It actually took me a week to be able to consume the 1200 calories per day, but I am really enjoying the addition of nuts, beans and greek yogurt.

On Steady trim so far I have lost an additional 1” on my waist and 1.4lbs. My size 12 pants are requiring a belt now, so by the end I think I will be down another pant size!  (I actually gained a pound in the first week due to my period then lost it again)

here are my stats overall:
5’2”, turning 34 in August

        Start—->End of Rapid Loss——->Day 15 Steady Trim

weight   168.2lbs           155lbs             153.6
BMI     30.8               28.3               28.1
pants     14                 12                 between 10 and 12
waist     36 3/4”            32 1/2”            31 1/2”

Best of all I am feeling really great overall and healthy. Everyone I see tells me how great I look, which feels awesome! I will admit to having indulged at a birthday party, I lost my willpower over some cake. But, the sweet sugary icing actually made me sick, as if my body just rejected it outright, it was not worth it at all. That experience will certainly curb my desires for overindulgence, even after Weight Not. Now my dessert is greek yogurt with fresh berries and cinnamon. Tasty and healthy!

Keep it up everyone!!!

Congratulations Carrie! Let us know how steady trim goes-I will be finishing rapidloss later this month (60 days) and am looking forward to starting steady trim so it will be great to hear your experience with it.  Good luck reaching your goal weight…with your progress so far I’m sure you will reach it.

Today is the last day of Rapid Loss for me, I start Steady Trim tomorrow. I might lose some more weight today, but I felt it was timely enough to post my results for the Rapid Loss phase (30 day program).

Height: 5’2”
Age: 33 (turning 34 later this year)

Stat Changes:
Weight:168.2 to 155 (13.2lbs total!!!!)
BMI: 30.7 to 28.3
waist: 36.75” to 32.5”
Hips: 43.5” to 39.5”
pants size: Women’s 14 to Women’s 10/12 (12 is lose, 10 a little tight, somewhere in between)

I also had been wearing an XL belt (Apt 9 Brand) and went from using the second hole to the last hole, time to buy a smaller belt!!! It seemed like everytime I had a small plateau (2 to 3 days), I always lost inches. Definitely a good thing! I am also able to button up some blouses that used to be way too tight around my belly, that is awesome! So hang in there during those plateaus, they should resolve themselves.

I hope to lose 10lbs more on Steady trim and then the remaining weight slowly over time by keeping to healthy eating habits overall. My final goal is 130 to 135lbs.

I am looking forward to Steady Trim and the chance to increase my workouts, I really want to intensify some weight training to sculpt my leaner body and help push off more pounds!  Honestly, the only food I missed on Rapid Loss was Greek Yogurt. I love yogurt and berries with a dash of cinnamon, it is a great “dessert”, so I can treat myself with that and still stick to the program and a healthy lifestyle!

I feel really great overall and have been able to stick with the program even through some dinners out and planning a party for this weekend (thank goodness I am cooking and can provide healthy options).

it seems overwhelming at first, but I can say that this phase actually went very fast.  Keep it up everyone!!!

Current weight:  149—clothing size 6—March 24, 2011

Saw physician yesterday—said there is now no sign of diabetes in any of my blood work—said I am one of only four people he knows that have deleted diabetes from their system through food intake only.  Said my liver/kidney fuctions, and everything else were normal.  The diabetes was my major hurdle because both parents and my sister all have diabetes, so I thought I was destined to also have it.  I was wrong—thanks to WeightNot…. :)

I feel fantastic!

5’5” - Started 16 days ago on the supplement (no shots) program at 197 lbs.  Today I’m 185 lbs.  That’s 12 lbs that have magically disappeared in 16 days!  I am amazed and delighted.  I have never been hungry and my energy is soaring.  More importantly, my blood sugar is below 100 every day now and my 5 year diagnosis of diabetes and Metformin may now be history…. :)

Did you follow exactly, its my 1st day I was good, untill about 8pm where i had a few walnuts, which I know I couldnt have till day 3. I feel bad and I am wondering did you experince the same?

Dear Zahra,
I’m on day 57 and I’ve lost 35 lbs.  I’m delighted.  My doctor has taken me off the diabetes medication and m blood sugars are 95 -97 every day, so I believe I’ve beaten the diabetes.

I followed the plan exactly.  I have not cheated at all.  I never felt cravings or hunger at all.  I did space out the supplements during the day to coincide with times I know I feel hungry—so, I eat breakfast at 7:30 with morning supplements, I have the fiber powder and mid-morning supplements at 11 am - 11:30 am—eat lunch at 1 pm.  Take afternoon supplements at about 3 pm and eat dinner at 6pm.  I usually save the evening fruit until the evening if I know I’m going to be home ‘cos that’s my danger time.

I have to say I’ve been drinking lots and lots of water and herbal tea and that’s helped a lot.

I found thin cut top round steaks from Giant—already cut—portioned almost exactly right for breakfast and lunch/dinner portions, so I put one of those in a dry frying pan with a cut up apple or orange slices, sprinkle it with cinnamon and nutmet and let it cook for a few minutes.  It’s quick and easy in the morning and tastes great.  I’ve had the best daily results (one pound and up in a day) when I have the steak for breakfast—go figure!

I am 56 year old female with Graves Disease and Bipolar. Thyroid is under control and just had to add a new medication to treat Bipolar. Also take Lithium from which I gained addiitonal weight.

Height: 5’6”
Start Weight: 191
Current Weight: 182
Total Lost: 9 lbs

I just started the program mid October and they’ve added a front part that lasts for a week prior to starting the shots. I lost weight during that week, so that’s good. But the week starts with a 2-day fast and drinking a power mixture (uck) 2x a day.

Since I’ve started the shots and 500 calories, it seems easy to stick to and my hunger panks are not too bad. My daughter and I are doing the diet together. So far, no cheating. My goal is 165-170 before transition.

I’m female, age 22   5’ 7”

I am on day 33 of the VLCD. I started at 190 and I’m down to 175, so 25 lbs so far! I haven’t cheated at all but it is getting hard, my wedding is in a month so I’ve had bridal showers, late nights doing last minute shopping, and so on. I’m hoping to get down at least another 10-15 lbs by my wedding. Just trying to take it day by day, week by week. Good luck to everyone else and congrats on your success so far!

Keep up the good work Krista, I know it’s hard not to cheat but hey you’ve lasted this long so it should be a breeze to wait just a little more.  I’m finding it hard today myself because it’s employee appreciation day at work and I was the employee being recognized… the hard is they have tons of free donuts for it all over the office.
