Secret to making the first 2 days easy

i was really honest with my counselor about my bad habits - coke zero, wine, poor food choices.  Her advice was to quit the diet soda first.  I switched to unsweetened iced tea.  Over the next 3 days I went through tiredness, nausea in the a.m., and vomiting after certain foods—I was THAT addicted to cola!!!  Then I spent 2 days eating lots of fresh fruit to get beyond my cravings for sugar.  I think Mollie (my counselor) was right - a lot of the symptoms associated with the first 2 days of fasting are more from withdrawl than the actual fasting, because I only had a slight caffeine headache the second day that execedrin eased quickly.  This morning starts day 3 and i am up early, feeling great, and have lost almost 6 LBS.
